About

I'm 29 years old and live in Brisbane, QLD, Australia with my husband, two cats, and six computers (we are both incorrigible geeks).

My web design career began in 1999 and I still count myself lucky to have experienced web back in the crazy days of the dot.coms. Many years later I'm still passionate about web design and really enjoy being part of a young and evolving industry.

Over the years my focus has expanded to incorporate design strategy, good usability, adherence to web and accessibility standards, clean documented code, and a complete separation of style from content. I also set time aside each week to keep up-to-date with the latest industry developments, methodologies and styles.

My hobbies include personal web projects, music composition, MMORPG's, and reading (everything from high fantasy and historical novels to good biographies and productivity culture).

On a personal level I’m positive, pro-active, and easy to get along with. I believe excellence is a habit and I always try to do everything to the best of my ability.

On a professional level I like to work hard and stay busy. I take responsibility for my work and am always happy to share knowledge and learn from others. I also love a challenge and excel at finding solutions to problems.
