Key Projects & Achievements

Designed and helped develop a number of QLD Government web sites including The Department of Youth Affairs, Queensland Training Awards, QLD TAFE, Logan TAFE and the QLD Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. This task required an in-depth knowledge of Government web site standards, and the ability to think creatively to develop a unique look and feel within a limited creative space.
Designed 120 unique web site templates within a 3 month deadline whilst employed with ASN, demonstrating strong creative thinking and the ability to work with set themes and within tight deadlines.
Was part of the design team responsible for the design, construction and animation of the Conrad Jupiters and Treasury web site whilst employed with Speedwell Media. This web site later went on to win the 2001 Award for "Excellence in an Advertising or Marketing site" from the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association.
Met strict twice-weekly deadlines for the migration of the Suncorp Metway corporate web site for over nine months. This task involved managing a small team of web developers, and liaising with business and legal departments to ensure text and graphical changes were correct before migrating them to a live environment using in-house software and support procedures.
Produced written documentation and style guides for Speedwell Media, Suncorp Metway, Department of Employment and Training, imagin8 and GBST to improve workflow and provide new team members with a point-of-reference for design/coding standards and common tasks.
