As a web designer and developer I approach web design knowing what is, and isn't, technically possible from a HTML / CSS perspective. This means that even if you hire me to do your site design only, you'll receive well-organised concepts that can easily be built using current
(not bleeding-edge) web standards and technologies.

All my website designs come with a written Design Rationale, which shows how the design works and how each element contributes to your website’s overall goals.

Option 1: Design only

I can create the design elements of your website only, leaving the HTML / CSS build to your internal, or outsourced, web developer(s). This can be a cost-effective way to complete your project when:

  • you don’t have an experienced web designer on staff
  • you’re designing for a system that only internal staff can develop, like an intranet
  • you require system-specific HTML / CSS for a content management system, like RedDot
    or Joomla.

Option 2: Design and build

I provide complete HTML / CSS build services for websites and online applications.

My code is clean, documented, well-structured, and guaranteed to meet W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) standards for HTML and CSS, including Australian accessibility legislation requirements.

I use a combination of evaluation tools and manual checks to test for web standards and accessibility. I also test on a range of modern browsers to ensure your site reaches the largest possible audience.
